"Godspell" Tech Week.
Oh yes, it's here.
Tech week for my first RMU show. Godspell.
I can honestly say. This has been really fun.
So today, we had a 10 hr. long play practice. And it was raining when I got there. Fello cast member, Summer York, who was arriving at the same time that I did, and I racet to the Massey Hall, only to find the front door locked. So we ran around to the side and got out of the rain. From there we practiced, and practiced, untill around five, when for whatever reason the fire alarm went off.
"Fire alarms go off at the worst times, sometimes." -from the Graduation blog.
So he had an early dinner in the food court, and then we got back to practice.
I remember awhile ago, we all did a song from the show in the food court earlier on in the year. "Bless the Lord" sung by Lindsey Wright. She did "Godspell" at Beaver High, too. But someone else sang that song. I can't believe it. No one sings "Bless the Lord" better than Lindsey, in my opinion.
By the way, the costumes are so funky. Most of the girls seem to like pink and black outfits, but some are wearing different. The guys are wearing a wide array of crazy stuff. I myself will be wearing a white Epcot Center baseball hat. My Quigley baseball jersey, grey sweatpants, and green boy scout socks. This is going to be very colorful.
