New Student Orientation
This past Friday, and Saturday, I went to the Robert Morris University New Student Orientation. And it was fun.
First, on Friday there was a huge picnic, and campus tours. I went through building after building, to find all the classrooms, where I will be having classes this year.
Then there was Monte Carlo night, where there was some fake money gambling, and later on a late night dance. I met some new friends there. They seem nice.
Saturday, there was a lecture about studying habits. I think that I may need them. College seems pretty tough. Then after the lecture.
I found myself at the Settler's Cabin Wave Pool. Guess I needed one last swim, before the school year starts.
Then, that evening there was a game show night. I managed to play one round, but scored no points. The questions were all Audio questions. A theme song, a famous movie quote, etc. Sometimes the winner even had to sing the song. One kid was forced to sing the "I love you" song from Barney.
Oh man!
Oh well, I start classes Tomorrow. By the way, the University does have a small theatre group. Seems like a small thing, with tiny plays, but maybe I can join that.
