A Night in Oglebay

Earlier this evening, my parents and I went on a trip we used to take in earlier years. A trip to Oglebay park.

Oglebay park, located in Wheeling West Virginia, is known for its Festival of Lights. They have lights formed as various toys, characters, and other things. It's very pretty.

Anyhow, we stopped at a Perkins for dinner. This Perkins used to be an Elby's Bib Boy restaurant, in earlier years. And, my father had a grudge against Perkins, for a bad meal, received earlier. But we ate there anyway.

Then we drove through the park. It was nice. Most of the stuff I remembered from earlier years was there. Like the Dinosaurs, and the jumping teddy bears, and, my personal favorite, the jack in the box.

Wow.

Then, in earlier years, we stopped at the glass museum to look at some of their creations. But they were closed for New Year's Eve, today.

Oh well.
