Door Decorating Contest
For years, the annula Christmas Door Decorating contest has been a major competition between first period classes.
I remember last year, Mrs. Walley's AP English class got so upset when their door ("A Quigley Christmas Carol" with faculty as the characters, like Mr. Lion as Scrooge) did not place in the contest. I remember our door(s) in 1st period study hall won, instead. We had, the inside and outside of Santa's workshop, and had Lucas Guthrie sit at one door and be Santa Claus. My favorite door was Mr. Gorwick's door. Santa stuck in the chimney with "Ho Oh No!" Printed on it.
Anyhow, this one was mild compared to last year. My favorite door was Ms. Zeger's door with Dennis the Menace on it with "Has Dennis been naughty or nice?" printed on it. In Mrs. Walley's class we...didn't enter.
the winner was Mr Gorwick's door. Entitled "A Chemical Christmas" with "H2O H2O H2O" and a element christmas tree. I put a picture on Mr. Lion's door. It was a picture of him with Dom Petrick and Dante Martire, I had taken at the Senior Retreat. But, I put a snowy backround in the backround and Dressed Mr. Lion as Santa Claus.
Nice!
Oh well, last year was much better.
