Downtown Parade
Jess, Andrea, if either one of you are reading this post, you're probably going to kill me.
Anyhow, my one 11:00 class was "cancelled for us to work on projects" today. So I decided to head Downtown, to see the Steelers parade.
So, I drove to the South Hills Junction transit stop, and rode the subway into the city. When I got there, it was crazy. There were thousands of people swinging Terrible Towels, climbing trees and street lamps, to see the parade in action. Not to mention the helicopters whirring overhead.
For the little bit of the parade I actually saw, I enjoyed. There were bands playing Steelers songs, cheerleaders performing stunts, and actual Steelers themselves on floats waving.
Wow!
After a snack at the PPG McDonald's, I left, and went home.
And to think, I wasn't going to go, what was I thinking?
Well, see ya later...

I won't kill you (this time) but you have to start letting me know when you're coming to the city. Glad you had a blast, I was bummed I couldn't see the parade myself...
