Camp Weekend: Charades, Chris Farley, and a luncheon

Another Camp Weekend Gone...

This past weekend was interesting. Several staff that I have yet to see at a weekend showed up at this one. Tom, Phil, Celeste, Angie, Sam, and others worked this one.

Anyhow, On Friday, the campers showed up, and we ate, and we did some early arts and crafts. Then the campers went to bed. After that Tom let me play his computer games, while we waited 'till later to go to bed.

After a sleepless night, of campers going to the bathroom every five minutes, and one making noise through the night, we got through Saturday. We did more New Year's Crafts, including glitter hats, and noise-makers, and other New Year's themes. Then that night Celeste led a game of charades with the campers. I didn't see too much of that because I was showering campers at the time. Then we watched a recording of the New Years Eve ball drop, hosted by Dick Clark. Unfortunately, he was weak, because of his recent stroke.

Oh well, it was still fun.

Later that night, Zach and I watched "Saturday Night Live: The Best of Chris Farley" and laughed at it. Too bad Farley is dead now.

So today, we cleaned up and went. During that I taught Phil and Celeste the lift done, in "Go go go Joseph", from the musical months ago. The lift that Emily and Paul, and Ashley and Aaron, had done, for those of you who saw the musical.

So later today, We all had a gathering at Max and Erma's in Cranberry. Sam, Laura, Angie, and Rachel and I met there, and Jess, Andrea, and Jason came too. Laurie was delayed though, because one camper had not left camp yet.

The staff of this one particular camper, who shall remain nameless, are really stupid. This same staff, took a wheelchair van across the Spencer/Kon-o-Kwee Bridge, and crashed it because it was too big. This happened over the summer.

Take a bow, ya bunch of Geniuses.

Oh well, Lots of stuff coming up. Stay tuned...
