11th Mancinis
I wasn't going to go to the Mancinis this year. But when I heard that Quigley was nominated for best overall show, this year, I had to go.
Anyhow for the musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", Quigley had the following nominations:
Outstanding Male in a Leading Role:
Nick Bell as Joseph (Won)
Outstanding Male in a Supporting Role
Brandon Madeja as Reuben
Outstanding Vocal Ensemble (Won)
Outstanding Costumes
Outstanding Overall Production
The other productions were nice, too! There was "West Side Story", "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying", "Copacabana", "Seussical: The Musical" and others. All of them did well.
Ryan Carroll and Nick Bell even won scholarships tonight. Dr. Gargaro, himself, awarded Nick Bell his.
So, overall a good show tonight. Quigley's "Joseph" cast member, Ryan Rapko, who played Asher and the Baker, will be coming to RMU in the fall; maybe he'll be in our version of "Joseph" as well.
Well, that's all for now.
Untill next time...
