The Best of 2004

Now, to recap the year 2004.

The top ten events.

10. Trips to the Mall There were many of them. I enjoyed going, in my free time, and listening to music, looking at shirts and posters, and that sort of stuff.

9. Working at Camp Arc Spencer over the Summer I finally got a summer job, working as a special needs counselor. For nine summer weeks, I worked, some pleasant, some unpleasant, and had some unforgattable times there.

8. Performing in "Grease" Although I was playing "the nerd" and got picked on a lot. I still had fun with the show. It went really well, despite the fire alarm on the Sunday matinee. Grease was the word.

7. The Grease Cast Party A fun way to celebrate the show. Although I didn't stay too long. I had fun, danced, took a lot of pictures, and that sort of stuff. But I got beat up for one of them. NEVER take a picture of someone drunk, who was burned by a cigarette.

6. Lenny's party in Fox Chapel We had fun there. We watched the Steeler game, played games, sang karaoke, that sort of thing. The only thing mishap was Dr. Gargaro turing the party into a information meeting about "Hair" which now, we're not even doing next semester.

5. Marc and Raeann's wedding Two days before Lenny's party, it went by well. I hung with other staff, and danced, to "Footloose" and "Grease", and that sort of stuff. I hung with Justin, Mitch, Christen, Jess, and Andrea, while there.

4. Performing in "Footloose" I had wanted to be in this play for a long time, and I finally got to. And I actually was "a dancer" in it too. I even got to be in a lift in the opening scene (sort of).

3. The "Footloose" cast party A great time. I took a lot of pictures there, and had a fun time with my "Footloose" cast members there. In fact the photo on my blog was taken at that party.

2. Kennywood During the summer, a group of camp staff went there, and I came along. We rode the Log Jammer, Pittsburgh Plunge, Thunderbolt, Raging Rapits, and Phantom's Revenge. I'll never forget my countdown as Mitch, Jeremy, and I waited in line for the Pitt Fall. Whoo Whoo!

And the Number One Event of 2004 was...

1. My 20th birthday And to think I was sad to be away from home for it. After two great swims, a cake, and some cards, I got the biggest surprise of my life. All the female staff jumped me wrapped in towells. I was a little shocked at first, but I quickly got over it. I'll never forget that birthday as long as I live.

Well, that's it for 2004. 2005 is coming up. Bring it on...

Not doing "Hair" anymore.

I got that announcement recently. The RMU theatre decided that it couldn't go through with doing "Hair" anymore. Instead we're doing a musical I've never heard of before, called "Working"

I'm partly releved that we're not doing "Hair," they were considering having me sing "Sodomy," I don't think that I could go through with a singing a song like than. But I'm saddened too. "Hair" did seem kind of fun though.

Anyhow, I just got a script for it. It's interesting. This show, seems to be about regular people and their jobs. Parts aren't cast yet, but they will be, hopefully. The first rehearsal is Jan, 9, the day before Spring Semester starts.

Hope this show is enjoyable.

Lost and Found Dog

I've been having a pretty stupid time lately.

This past weekend, I lost our old dog. I let him out, and he never came back.

When the word spread around A lot of people got really angry at me. They said "He's just a little dog!" I avoided a lot of people for a while.

Then, on Wednesday, we were lucky. Someone had found him on Sunday Morning, and had picked him up. My mother hurried over and got him. So he's home now, and everything's alright now.

It's now Christmas Break for me, and I can relax...

Camp Weekend: Of Footballs and Flowery Robes...

This past weekend, after an information meeting for "Hair" I attended another camp weekend up at Camp Arc Spencer.

On Friday, I was the only male counselor there. Oh well. That evening nothing much happened, but we did sing Christmas Carols, and watched Christmas movies.

Mitch finally decided to show up the next day. And he led a nice football game with the guys outside.

Cool! I mean it. It was cool!

That night after campers were in bed, Jess put on a Flowery Robe, and lured me into bed with her. Nicole tried to take a picture of us in bed together. But the picture didn't develop. Don't worry, nothing bad happened that night. It it had, I wouldn't be talking about this.

Oh well, later!
