Tonight I slipped into the 10th annual Mancini awards.

Quigley Had the Following nominations:

Outstanding Male in a Leading Role:
Evan Marcavage as Skye Masterson

Outstanding Male in a Supproting Role:
Nick Bell as Nathan Detriot (Won)

Noteworthy Performance by an Individual:
Ryan Carroll as Nicely-Nicely Johnson (Won)

Noteworthy Performance by a Group:
Ryan Carroll, Brandon Madeja, and Zach Lieb as the Tinhorn Trio (Won)
Amanda Caldelmo, Meghan O'Neill, and Emily Mitko as the Missionary Girls

As you can see 3 out of 5 actually won their awards. Dr, Gargaro himself, awarded the group award. Other performances included "The Wiz", "Rags", "Once Upon a Matress", "State Fair", "The Music Man", and others.

This year, Lena Gail Dowdell (Sarah Brown), and Kelly Mahoney (Miss Adelaide) were the Quigley representatives in the finale. The finale was a combination of "One", from "A Chorus Line", 'I Feel Pretty", from "West Side Story", another song, I don't know, and "We Go Together" from "Grease".

This was the 10th annual Mancinis. The Pink Panther was there. So was Mrs. Mancini, widow of the late Henry Mancini. Jon Burnett hosted, like before, and ther was a huge balloon shower at the end. Jeopardy Mike would have been in heaver there. Untill people statted popping the ballons anyway.

Oh well, now that's over with. Don't know about summer job yet, bu hopefully I will soon.

Job hunting...

So far, I havn't found anything yet. But I'm still looking.

Right now, there is one particular job, that I'm seriously considering. My mother and I found an ad. And I've been busy getting stuff ready for it. This particular job, is working as a camp counselor, for disabled people.

There's this camp called "Camp Arc Spencer" along Conoquenessing Creek. IT's not far from where I live. I've been the the campground once before on a Boy Scout Trip. It was to the climbing wall.

Anyhow, in addition to applying for about a thousand other jobs in the area. I been doing a lot of stuff to fully qualify for this one. First I called them, and they sent me a packet of info. This included a list of qualifications, an application, and reference sheets. I hunted around for referances and I Went to Butler Red Cross to get re-certified in First-aid and CPR. And I filled out the application and I sent everything to the office.

I'm a little nervous about this job though. I'll be away from home, for pretty much most of the summer, if I get it. And I'll be working with disabled people. I do have experience camping from being in Boy Scouts, and I have experience helping elderly people, from volunteering at Passavent, but am I going to be ready for this?

Anyhow, I won't hear anything from them for about another week, so in the meantime, I'll keep applying, for other jobs.
