"Footloose" Screening

In the middle of finals, the cast of "Footloose" had a temporary break.

Tonight, we watched the finished DVD of "Footloose" It was nice. We had pizza and cola. And the DVD was enjoyable. Unlike Godspell, there were a lot of angles, because there were multiple cameras instead of just one.

I know I'm not a great dancer. But I decided that I did have a lot of enthusiam.

Oh yeah. Jeopardy Mike gave out balloons to all the girls. This was to boost their morale. I wonder if any of them really had a morale boost.

Hmmm...

Oh well, Summer vacation is coming up. I'm hoping to actually get a job this summer.
Stay tuned...

"Footloose" Night 3: Family night for me

Tonight, we had our third night of "Footloose". It went well, with no errors, like before.

The dances and songs went well, and they're fun.

My mother came tonight. She enjoyed the show. Tansy, (who plays Ethel in the show) was anxious to meet her.

So I went home afterwards, and Tomorrow is out last night.

"Footloose" Night 2: Another great show.

We had another great show tonight. And another night with balloons in the dressing room.

Anyhow, like I said; there is a lot of dancing in this show. One move, that I noticed was this move where the guys and girls link arms, and the guys run in a sircle, holding the girls. I have Jackie Becker and Stacey Dixon hanging onto my arms.

Wow!

Another thing: In the cowboy scene I say that dancing is as easy as learning how to swim. But I had a really hard time learning how to swim. Don't get me wrong, I can swim, but it took me awhile to learn. Just some FYI.

Anyhow after the show, we got a lot of "Good Jobs" and I went home.

"Footloose" Night 1: A nice opening.

We had our opening night tonight, and it went well. We had a large crowd, and the show went well with no real errors.

The guys' locker room was filled with red and Baby-blue baloons. Jeopardy Mike, (who playes the cop) askes people to give him balloons of these colors to boost his morale. You know, in the final prom scene, he wears a full tuxedo. But no one else does. Wouldn't a cop still wear his uniform to a dance like this? Oh well, whatever makes him happy.

There were a few last minute changes. For example, in "Let's Hear it For the Boy", where the cowboys teach with Willard (played by Greg), they asked Emily, Dana, Bethany, and Summer, to do the dance, as well. So there's ten of us dancing, as opposed to the original six "Godspell" guys.

After the show, we all went to the Ground Round again. And we BS'd and ate.
Another show tomorrow... Stay Tuned.
