Choir Festival

I sing Tenor in my church choir. Today, we sang in the annual festival, where churches from around Zelienople, gather together to perform.

This took place at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople. I had to leave my play practice early to attend it though.

Sorry guys!

Anyhow, after a long dilemma aboutwhat song we were going to sing, we just ended up singing a version of "Holy, Holy." This semed kind of lame, compared to other songs sung, that night. But all the choirs gathered together to sing another song together called "Praise the Lord".

Nice.

Now, lots of Footloose stuff coming up. Stay tuned...

"Footloose" cast.

Ok, the parts are cast for the musical "Footloose".

Ren McCormick, will be played by Mike Mainier. Naturally, he'll be the star again.
Arial Moore, will be played by Emily Dewald. I knew even before I even knew that we were doing "Footloose", that if we ever did, she would get that part.
Willard Hewitt, will be played by Greg Heid. Pretty Obvious as well.
Rusty will be played by Lindsey Wright. Knew that was coming as well.
Urleen and Wendy Jo will be played by Dana Hanzlik and Caitlin Varley. I sort of thought it would be that way.
Lyle and Travis will be played by Dom DeNardis and Doug Beasock. I actually thought Doug would be the Reverend.
Garvin and Bickle will be played by Gary Ashley and myself. I thought I'd be a bad boy though.
Betty Blast will be played by Summer York. Well, she roller-skates.
Coach Dunbar will be played by John Locke. Cool!
Courtney Spradley is a dancer girl in the show, too.

Newcomers to the cast:

Lenny Labriola: Playing Rev. Shaw Moore. Seems serious, but a nice guy.
Nathan Oakes: Playing Chuck Cranston. Fits the part a little too well.
Tansy Fortner: Playing Ethel McCormick. Really nice. Knows of Quintin.
Bethany Gallagher: Playing Jeter. So we got a girl in the Guy's trio.
Melony Murray: Playing Lulu Warnicker. Nice. In Computer class with me.
Ann Mathis: Playing Eleanor Dunbar. Nice.
"Jeopardy" Mike Mondak: Playing the cop. He's that game show kid I mentioned earlier.
Jackie Becker, Samantha Leonardi, Stacey Dixon and Amy Etzel: Dancer girls. All sweet. Jackie and Samantha sold tickes last year, and Amy was the assistant stage manager.

That's the crew. hope this show turns out as well as Godspell.
