On and off Job

That's exactly what I had today.

Today, after school, I wag given a job at this place called "Vector Marketing" I was unsure about it, but I accepted. Training showed that we would be selling this "cutco" set of knives. Knives that cut better and are safet than normal knives. I was happy to finally kave a job, but nervous. It still seemed like a lot of work. How many people would I have to sell to?

Training lasted untill dark. finally arriving home, my mother told me to quit the job. She didn't approve of me selling to others. So, I did.

How did I feel about this? A part of me was sad, that my mother wasn't proud of me, for finally obtaining a job. But a part of me was happy, becasue I wasn't too sure I was going to like it anyway.

So, I'm still unemployed. Oh well, maybe something will come up over the summer.

Winter break/Car troubles

What a break.

Not to mention car troubles.

First of all, on a Saturday night, I was going to go out for a while. So I started my car, but then had to get out to scrape the winshield. Then I started to get back in, but the door locked on me. My car was running and I was locked out of it! SO my mother called a friend to break into it for me, and I got the keys and shut the car off.

Oh man!

The next day, I ran straight to Wal-Mark to make two extra sets of keys, for my car, and some for the other cars.

However, more troubles began.

Later, that week, I managed to back our Gator, into my car, leaving a huge dent in the door. After trying to undo it with a ding-king failed, I had to pay $300 to have it fixed.

Dang!

But I had some fun during Christmas break. Watched re-runs of "A Christmas Story," went ice skating at Blade Runners, at Cranberry, saw "Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King" at the movies, and a lot of other stuff.

Now, I'm about to start my next semester at RMU. It's gonna hopefully be a good one.
By the way, here's a quote from a previous post.

"If they were to do something like "Footloose" next semester, nothing would stop me from being in it."

Well, that's exactly what they're doing next semester. And recovered from Godspell now, I AM going to audition for it.
